Great Places to Meet & Work in Leicestershire
We are always on the search for fab new local Cafés and Deli's to go to for various business meetings whether it's with clients, suppliers or just for an opportunity for us to catch up on all things Florence & Bow. Working from home is great however working remotely away from household distractions is just what you need sometimes!
We thought we'd share our fave places locally to meet, work, and of course... Eat cake and drink Coffee!
Bom Bom Patisserie, Derwent Drive, Loughborough
We only stumbled across this little gem a couple of weeks ago but we are so glad we did. Marta the owner and head Chef (who is so lovely!) bakes everything herself including Danish Pastries, Double Chocolate Muffins, Speciality Cookies, gluten-free Brownies and Flapjack to name but a few.... It would have been rude not to sample something so we had a croissant and an obligatory flat white - both were delicious. This place has a really cool vibe and an abundance of style, so do pop along and support this great little place!
Odd Johns Deli, High Street, Quorn.
Odd Johns opened just over a year ago and the owners Daz & Kirsty have done a fantastic job so far, they are always there with a warm welcome and it has a really friendly atmosphere. The quirky decor and fantastic menu makes it the 'go to' place in Quorn. They bake all their cakes on site as well as homemade sausage rolls, quiches and scones - what's not to love! We have also sampled their afternoon tea which is amazing and you can even add a glass of Prosecco if you're celebrating (we obviously did this!).
They have a big Island within the seating area with laptop docking stations making it a great place for a mobile workspace. It also makes a great place for an informal business meeting. We are now hosting our Collaboration Wednesdays meet ups there too where we bring local small businesses together to discuss all things relating to running your own business.
The Brewery, High St, Sileby
This is a gorgeous little place with lots going on! They are a deli by day selling delicious food, cakes and drinks but by night they host some really amazing events too! From Gourmet Burger / Fish & Chip nights with 'Heidi The Van' to Pampering Nights and Craft Fairs. This places oozes rustic charm and has an inside and outside eating area making it perfect for dining al fresco.
Sarah the owner has worked so hard to build up this business around her young family. She is proud to support local and uses speciality Barista coffee, roasted locally in Leicester - all ingredients on their menu have also been hand chosen from local producers with the most recent addition being delicious artisan breads baked just down the road by BROD Bakery. (Their Sourdough loaf is AMAZING!)
You MUST pop along and visit this place when you can #supportlocal !
So if you're local make sure you take the time to visit these fab places - we promise, you won't be disappointed!
